Trailer Mechanic - Benton Tank Shop : Job Details

Looking for an experienced tanker trailer mechanic to join our team. We are in search of the right mechanic to work with our team of professionals. Individuals must be punctual, possess a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and have knowledge of DOT safety and compliance requirements. Duties would include: Perform inspections, repairs and maintenance for trailers in compliance with all DOT requirements. Perform routine preventative maintenance on trailers. Perform welding and fabrication on trailers. Keep all assigned trailer maintenance files current including all DOT compliance-related documentation for mechanical work performed on trailers. Perform or coordinate emergency maintenance, breakdown repairs on trailers. Maintain shop area, order parts, materials, oils, lubricants, shop supplies. Interact with customers and vendors while always maintaining a customer service focus. Perform all other duties as assigned and required within role.
