Trained Medication Aide (TMA)

Are you passionate about helping others and ensuring safe, effective care? We are looking for a Trained Medication Aide to join our compassionate healthcare team!

Position: Trained Medication Aide (TMA)

Location: Bloomington and surrounding Twin Cities Metro area

Pay: $28-$34/ hour depending on shift differential. $1,500 sign on bonus for full time employees.

Schedule: Hours available on all three shifts, full time and part time and flexible scheduling. Weekends and short notice shifts are a priority.

Responsibilities:

• Safely administer prescribed medications to patients as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with patient care
• Monitor resident's response to medication.
• Ensure medication storage and handling comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient medication records and report any concerns or changes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care for patients.

Requirements:

• Must have a Trained Medication Aide (TMA) with a diploma verifying a minimum of 48 hours of training
• Current CNA registry with the state of MN
• One year of experience working in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to work communicate in English in verbal and written form
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Knowledge of electronic medical records systems and the ability to chart effectively
