Job Title:Trainee, Hospitality Reports to: VP, Hospitality JOB PURPOSE: The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. The Hospitality Trainee works with the VP of Hospitality in supporting and assisting on new project openings (restaurants and spas), specifically: administrative tasks such as updating and maintaining project timelines and calendars, coordinating meetings, creating agendas and note taking, vendor set-up and coordination, and building and updating presentation decks. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization's short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results and present a project to the Executive Leadership Team. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the VP of Hospitality with administrative support for
    • Meeting agendas and notes
    • File maintenance
    • Vendor Set-up and coordination
    • Invoice processing
    • Budget updates
    • Scheduling and calendar updates
    • Building and maintaining presentation deck
  • Support the 360-project management of new restaurant and spa openings
    • In coordination with numerous cross functional departments; specific focus and collaboration with the Special Projects Department within the Communications and Image team
  • Any other new projects assigned from time to time

  • Full-time, 6 Month Program
  • Must be available M-F, 9-6pm, Friday work from home
  • At least 6 months of prior experience; Hospitality experience or higher education focus a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly complex work environment
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently at times
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
  • Ability to deliver information in a clear, concise manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • Time sensitive, organized, accurate and highly dependable, with a strong eye for attention to detail
