Training and Communications Associate The Training and Communications Associate at Modern Woodmen of America brings energy and creativity to training and communication, helping representatives and volunteer leaders strengthen communities, create meaningful connections, and make a lasting impact. In this role, you will craft engaging, targeted content that educates and motivates audiences about the impact and benefits of community involvement. You will lead the development of specialized training programs, create compelling content, and launch social media initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging aligns with Modern Woodmen's goals. These efforts aim to increase engagement and enhance the sense of connection and purpose within the organization. - Develop and deliver training that empowers financial representatives and volunteer leaders to create meaningful community impact.
- Craft engaging content and messaging that inspires participation in Modern Woodmen's mission-driven programs and activities.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure a strong and consistent message about the value of building connections and giving back.
- Lead social media initiatives for the department that highlight the impact of our programs and encourage greater involvement.
- Support the Fraternal Department in enhancing engagement strategies and strengthening relationships with members and communities.
- Assist in the development of specialized training programs that equip leaders with the skills and knowledge to make a difference.
- Create innovative resources and tools that help representatives and volunteer leaders bring Modern Woodmen's community-focused programs to life.
- Analyze data to refine strategies, maximize impact, and present insights in visually appealing and compelling ways.
What we need:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, business, education, or other related programs; or applicable career experience.
- 5 years related experience.
- Skilled at leading dynamic training sessions and delivering impactful messaging across traditional and digital platforms.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and digital content skills with talent for storytelling and creativity.
- Experience with website updates, social media management, and training resource development.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. Skilled in basic graphic design to create visually appealing content.
What we offer:
- Pay: The annual pay range for this position is $60,000-$70,000. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
- Work Arrangements: This is a full-time hybrid position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Hybrid positions work at least three days in office and the remaining days each week working from hom Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be asked to work on-site (five days a week) during the initial training period which may be up to one year.
