$2000 Sign-On Bonus! The Training Coordinator is our primary trainer and facilitator for orientation, routine pre-service, in-service, and other trainings as needed. Training includes routine and specialized classes such as CPR, Crisis Intervention Techniques, use of Web-based Electronic systems, College of Direct Supports, Fire Safety, Rights, Safety Care, Prevention of Abuse, Employee and Safety Handbook familiarization, etc. The Training Coordinator maintains training records to ensure credentials and service requirements are met so that staff remain in compliance with governing regulations. In addition, the Training Coordinator follows all newly hired employees closely to ensure all required training is completed on or before their 90-day probationary evaluation is due, Scheduling applicants / employees for the New Hire Orientation, coordinate classes using resources inside and outside of agency; facilitating venue, instructor, agenda, and classroom rosters. Note that some training may need to take place for small class sizes or during evening/weekends as needed. Prepare training material for each class as necessary, monitor training expiration dates to ensure staff credentials stay current. Record all training data for all employees into HR system and issue certificates by established deadlines. Perform other related tasks as assigned / requested. Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Education may be substituted for 4 years of experience in the field
- 1 year working with adult learners
- 1 year experience using Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office or compatible software
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills
