We offer a generous PTO policy with to 20 days off within your initial first year and employer match on a 403(b) Plan.Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Training Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for therapists and other clinicians and support staff, ensuring that our staff are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to provide exceptional care. This role requires a deep understanding of therapeutic practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for professional development. Unlock the Potential: join us as a Training Specialist and Shape the Future of Staff Excellence at Suncoast Center!Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing therapists and clinicians.- Conduct workshops, seminars, and individual training sessions on various therapeutic techniques, direct client support services, and best practices.- Collaborate with clinical leadership to identify training needs and create tailored training plans.- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of therapy.- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to therapists to enhance their professional growth.- Maintain training records and provide regular reports to management on training progress and outcomes.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all training activities.-Serve as co-chair for the agency Training Committee and update the agency Training Plan.-Manage the Learning Management System for all users.- Maintains and communications up to date knowledge on any changes to the Licensure requirements and supports registered interns with this knowledge.-Trains providers in the effective use of tele-health technology for the use with individuals, children, and families; and maintains an ongoing tips and tricks document for providers.Qualifications:Education:Master's degree required in social work, counseling, family therapy, or closely related field.Licensure:Licensed as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT required.- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs for mental health professionals.- Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and others.- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Passion for continuous learning and professional development.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.- Advanced certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques.- Familiarity with online training platforms and e-learning tools.Must be 21 years of age.Negative Drug Screening prior to hire and throughout employment.Clear Criminal Background Check throughout employment with Suncoast Center and local checks prior to hire and annually along with DCF Level II prior to hire and as required by DCF, and Must have valid Florida Driver's License Motor Vehicle checks prior to hire and annually with acceptable driving record maintained throughout employment along with reliable vehicle, valid registration, and valid vehicle insurance.
