Job Description: As a Training Specialist, you will collaborate with technical and business staff on the project, which is replacing the current. You will analyze and complete documentation and training materials, working closely with Client staff, community partners, and the Workforce Development group. Responsibilities include participating in process mapping, organizational change management, and facilitating sessions with internal and external users to ensure proper development of training materials for system development, testing, and implementation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business processes to develop relevant training materials for the system
  • Collaborate with Agile project teams to document business functionality for end users
  • Facilitate focus groups, presentations, and design sessions to map business processes
  • Conduct outreach to community partners to address internal and external training needs
  • Provide guidance and expertise in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Develop and deliver training materials, such as instructor-led courses, job aids, and videos
  • Evaluate and improve training content and methods based on staff feedback and effectiveness
  • Coordinate training sessions for small and large groups in collaboration with project and AWD staff
  • Assist in the development of a comprehensive training strategy and plan for the project
  • Collaborate with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team to support business readiness
  • Track and manage training-related risks and issues
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
  • Proven experience providing training materials and guidance in IT or similar projects
  • Experience with instructor-led and self-paced course development and testing
  • Strong collaboration skills with community partners and agencies
  • Ability to assess learning styles and training needs of diverse users
  • Proficiency in developing work products like training curriculum, job aids, and presentations
  • Ability to deliver training in-person and remotely for various group sizes
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, education, communication, social work, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing corporate learning programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and facilitation skills
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $30.00 to $50.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry. cyberThink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
