METCOR/LSI has a need for a Training Specialist to support the development and delivery of technical, procedural, and/or soft-skills training materials for federal employees. This position is full-time, remote, and offers a long-term opportunity for internal growth within an established organization.METCOR/LSI maintains a drug-free work environment. U.S. citizenship is required.Preferred ExperienceCall Center experienceKnowledge of military and/or civilian health benefits administrationSalesforce learning environment experienceDuties and Responsibilities in the Training Specialist role:Deliver training in a classroom or virtual environmentCollaborative design and development of training materials (presentations, quick reference tools, instructor/participant guides, etc.) on a variety of topicsEditing and content review for team membersSupport end users and evaluate the efficacy of training materialsResearch and study to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a variety of topicsRequired Skills and Abilities for the Training Specialist role:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of, or experience with, the ADDIE process of Instructional Systems DesignHigh degree of flexibility and adaptabilityAnalytical skills and a high level of attention to detailIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelAbility to multitask in a fast-paced work environmentChampion of life-long learning and self-developmentAbility to travel up to 25%Education and Experience for the Training Specialist role:Bachelor's degree required (in a related field such as Instructional Design, Education, or English preferred)1+ years of training content creation preferredPhysical Requirements of the Training Specialist role:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Compensation$50,000 - $80,000 annuallyAbout the CompanyMETCOR/LSI is a certified veteran owned small business with a focus on developing and delivering learning solutions that exceed customer expectations.
