About the Position: The role of Training Specialist helps design and develop training programs across the company. These programs will help improve current and new employee's skills and knowledge or policies and procedures. Job Details:Position: Training Specialist Location: Remote (Travel 30%-50% of the time)Pay: $75,000/year (Negotiable based on experience)Full Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, ESOPKey Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and implement training needs within the company.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of current and upcoming training programs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop training materials, including online courses, videos, and assessments.
  • Assisting in the delivery of eLearning courses, ensuring alignment with organizational training needs and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure courses are up to date with current industry standards and best practices in training and development.
  • Provide support and training to other team members and end-users on the LMS functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the LMS is integrated with other HR and compliance systems.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree preferred, bachelor's degree highly desired in instructional design, education, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in eLearning development and LMS management.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Ability to develop interactive and engaging content using multimedia tools.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and in an office setting; Able to work independently
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SCORM, xAPI, or other eLearning standards.
  • Knowledge of video editing and graphic design software.
  • Familiarity with compliance-related training, especially in EHS&T or similar regulated environments.
