Job Description :

High volume Real Estate Investment company is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to join our company in supporting the Acquisitions and Dispositions team. The Transaction Coordinator will be overseeing the escrow process from contract through closing and financing. They will be responsible for acting as a liaison between title companies, agents, clients, attorneys, escrow companies, and mortgage brokers during the real estate sales process. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented and have extensive knowledge and experience with TREC contracts. This position is fully onsite at our office in Addison, TX and does not have any hybrid or remote work flexibility.

Summary of Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Receive executed purchase agreements, confirm the escrow or title officer has the necessary documentation and information to open files
  • Provide documentation to Accounting for a wire of the earnest deposit money and closing funds
  • Monitor and assess the progress of the sale so that important deadlines are met, and contingencies are released
  • Work with Title to obtain required HOA information and/or documentation
  • Process HOA regulation reviews with attorney
  • Maintain all documentation and files to ensure all the mandatory disclosures are complete
  • Verify for completeness of all initials, signatures and dates before marking the purchase contracts as complete
  • Initiate communication if documents require any additional signatures, corrections or amendments
  • Update internal systems with required data and documentation
  • Research county websites to confirm tax and property information
  • Support acquisition team with data validation and research in the underwriting process as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum 2 years with TREC contracts
  • Detail-oriented and committed to producing great end results
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize work and manage time, often under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High-level customer service skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Salesforce experience is a plus!

Employment for all final candidates who have received and accepted a written offer of employment from Open House Texas/Atlanta Realty & Investments LLC is contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check and drug screening. Background checks and drug screenings will be conducted on all final candidates, as deemed necessary. Motor vehicle background searches and records will be required if applicable to the position and when driving is an essential requirement of the position. All candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.
