Job Overview:The Transcript Evaluator is responsible for analyzing and interpreting academic transcripts, prior learning assessments, and other official documents to determine transferability of credit while adhering to university policy and state guidelines. Maintains transfer credit equivalency and policy information on the university website, staff reference materials, university catalog, and the student information system. Works closely with admissions, academic advisors, faculty, and other staff to provide timely and accurate information. Implements reporting requirements as dictated by state regulation.Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Experience:
- Demonstrated understanding of partner transfer credit and academic policies, curriculum, and program requirements.
- Experience with Jenzabar and Slate student information systems.
- Prior experience in a university environment.
- Experience working with transfer student populations.
Work-Related Knowledge:
- Demonstrated knowledge of higher education policies and procedures.
