Transfer and Progressive Press Operator Metal Stamping 21 - Autokiniton : Job Details

The VDP Formatter is responsible for creation and verification of data processed thru the format program for production. This position is also responsible for the creation of associated data production paperwork. The VDP Formatter will manage the Live Data Files within the Front End environment and release them to Production. High standards of quality control procedures must be strictly adhered to. This position interfaces with internal and external personnel in order to gather, access and clarify client data verification information.

Requires knowledge of graphic designs terminology, equipment, and techniques. Knowledge of photography, drawing, color, and design. Good skill in the use of appropriate computer software applications and skill in producing/manipulating electronic files. Excellent hand and eye coordination and color discrimination and ability to create visually aesthetic representations within accepted design practices. Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning specifications. Experience designing on a Macintosh computer using software packages such as PageMaker, QuarkXpress, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop is required. Experience in university setting is preferred.
