Position Overview

We're looking for a motivated operations professional who has experience managing ACATs and non ACATs transfers requests, wires and checks processing, as well as researching and resolving escalations for a self-clearing broker. This position will focus on owning, optimizing, and executing Invest transfers and banking related processes, tasks and projects with exposure to cross-domain functionalities and collaboration. The ability to review and interpret DTCC ACATs and CBRS reports, meet strict intra-day deadlines problem solve, and communicate clearly and concisely is essential. A licensed Series 99 representative or comparable FINRA licensee with knowledge of regulatory requirements is also a plus. The successful candidate in this role will possess a genuine enthusiasm for investment operations and enjoy using technology to execute creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor DTCC ACATS system to complete transfer of customer securities within regulatory guidelines and department SLA's.
  • Take ownership of critical transfers and banking domain tasks such as Intercom tickets management and processing, wire and checks processing, contra communication management and etc.
  • Troubleshoot, manage, and resolve account transfers and banking related issues and escalations from customers, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design and execute small to medium domain projects and partner with domain owners and managers on cross functional projects.
  • Assist in supervising operational tasks to ensure consistency of service quality and reduce financial and regulatory risks.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining procedures for training and reference of all functions under self-clearing and settlement.
  • Continually cross-train and be adaptable to provide additional support to the team during times of high volume or short staffing.
  • Other assigned tasks based on various business needs within Invest Operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with DTCC ACATs system, CBRS system, self-clearing and settlement (DTC, NSCC).
  • Attention to detail, proven organizational, communication, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Analytical, metrics and data-driven mindset.
  • Experience with Intercom ticketing System, Inteliclear system, and SQL, a plus.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent objectives, assignments, and deadlines, while achieving expected results.
  • Fast learning team player who enjoys collaborating and will take the initiative to comprehend and own tasks.
  • Series 99 or comparable FINRA licensing required or expectation to study and pass exam soon after hire.
