JOB TITLE: Transportation Assistant CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non-ExemptPROGRAM/DEPARTMENT: TransportationIMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Manager of Fleet and Transportation POSITION SUMMARY: Asset Fleet Manager with maintaining Fleet maintenance. Safely transport and support people we serve (PWS) to various programs they are attending. Completion of all vehicle logs as required by procedure. Communicate with passengers and family members in a professional courteous manner. Gas vehicles as necessary. Complete all required paperwork. Communicate vehicle concerns in order to quickly and safely get resolved. Transport individuals to appropriate programs in a safe and timely manner as needed.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education, Training & Experience:Valid NYS driver's license with a record that meets agency standardsThree (3) years driving experienceESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to effectively communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
