Performs a variety of skilled and semiskilled work at the full performance level in the building trades in connection with the maintenance and repair of Transportations' facilities, buildings and grounds. Work assignments usually require skill in and knowledge of maintenance and repair methods and practices in several building maintenance trades. Performs related work as required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in building maintenance, building construction, in the installation and maintenance of building electrical or heating systems, or highway related experience. Possession of a valid driver's license is also required.
- Substitution: Successful completion of study from a regionally accredited college or university or related business or vocational school training may be substituted for the general experience on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required experience.
