ON-SITE LOCATION: Woodlands, TX 77380 and/or Houston, TX 77022 offices LOGISTICS DISPATCHER POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher to join our team. This role plays a crucial role in the efficiency and smoothness of supply chain operations. This role will involve coordinating various logistical aspects including procurement, storage, transportation of materials, managing inventory, dispatcher duties, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and computer skills and will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and coordinate all logistical processes for supply chain operations for DAL USA including dispatcher duties.
  • Monitor and track drivers and delivery of products and materials to its destination.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
  • Maintain and handle documents such as Bill of Ladings (BOLs) and rate confirmations.
  • Maintain accurate records of supply chain activities, inventory levels, and logistics information.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to facilitate efficient logistical and transportation processes and deliveries.
  • Plan and track the shipments of products according to customer requirements.
  • Monitor logistics to ensure timely delivery.
  • Plan and manage the flow of materials and information.
  • Respond to any issues or complaints related to the supply chain process.
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
  • Implement measures to improve quality, cost, and efficiency of the supply chain and logistical processes.
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and update spreadsheets, track data, and generate reports.
  • Use Microsoft Outlook for email communication and scheduling.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate using Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations and requirements related to supply chain, logistics, and transportation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with supply chain, transportation and logistical laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum education: High School Diploma; prefer Bachelor's degree in Business or in related field of Supply Chain Management,
  • Must have Minimum of 5-years work experience.
  • Bilingual in speaking, reading, and writing in both English & Spanish languages to interact with Mexico leadership team and other departments is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ADVANCED EXCEL experience, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Previous experience in a logistics, transportation, 3PL, or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledgeable in supply chain, transportation, and of logistics principles.
  • Ability to work both independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations and requirements related to supply chain, logistics, and transportation processes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
  • Must be Bilingual (English and Spanish languages).
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to constant change and react to changing priorities.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Results-oriented, ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Strong analytical, and quick problem-solving skills are required to resolve issues.
