We are looking for a Transportation Engineer to join our team!

Job Description:

As a member of our transportation engineering group, you will be working closely with Project Managers and clients regarding project work; including performing roadway design, writing specifications, and preparing cost estimates, for a variety of road and bridge projects. The Transportation Engineer will also maintain relationships with existing clients, as well as solicit new business, and assist in writing proposals.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities for this role would include;

  • Verifying accuracy of technical work
  • Monitoring job progress and budgets
  • Reviewing and preparing deliverables
  • Preparation of construction plans and specifications

Education/Experience:

Requirements:

  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Understanding of transportation engineering concepts
  • AutoCAD or Microstation experience
  • Possess a PE License in Michigan or progressing towards licensure

Preferences:

  • Related work experience
  • 3D or OpenRoads Designer experience
