Job SummaryWe are seeking compassionate, professional drivers who are passionate about safety, customer service, and community impact. This role involves providing safe and timely transportation for clients, including elderly individuals and those with disabilities, ensuring a high-quality experience. Bilingual Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport clients to and from their destinations on time, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist passengers with mobility devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, or stretchers, including proper security of mobility equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Comply with ADA and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, ensuring vehicles are in compliance.
- Maintain accurate travel logs, mileage records, and trip details.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and clients, providing real-time updates when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle to ensure a professional image.
- Attend and participate in regular safety training and briefings to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Exhibit patience, empathy, and professionalism, especially when dealing with elderly or disabled passengers.
Qualifications- Required:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and assist clients with mobility needs.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
- Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in transportation or customer service.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
