Position: TransportationProject Manager - Senior

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide direct supervision and oversight of personnel, as required, in the following areas:

• Professional Services Contract Management
• Project Management
• Expressway and tolling infrastructure construction.
• Traffic and ITS operations
• Planning, production and implementation of Capital and Transportation Improvement Plans
• Environmental and corridor studies
• Right‐of‐way program management
• Roadway, tolling and bridge design and construction
• Construction contract administration
• Constructability and Bid‐ability reviews
• Geotechnical, Survey and Public Involvement
• Program Controls
• Other areas as prescribed in the EAC Contract with the Client
• Analyze complex, technical and administrative problems accurately and provide recommendation and assistance in implementing an effective course of action.
• Provide consulting services on Federal, State and Local policies, laws, regulations, rules and ordinances related to transportation planning, design and construction contracts.
• Develop cost estimates and budgets, tracking for capital expenditures (planning, design, right‐of‐way, design‐build and construction funds), and construction fund drawdown schedules
• Facilitate contract negotiations and compliance for both professional and construction services

EXPERIENCE:

• Typically, ten (10) years of experience providing engineering/management services, at least two (2) of those years shall have been providing similar management level.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors' Degree in Civil Engineering
• Registration in Florida as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or licensed as a Professional Engineer in another state and able to obtain license in Florida.
