Assists in picking up and delivering various items between various internal and external hospital locations. Helps in escorting or transporting patients within facility. Job Responsibility 1. Assists in picking-up and delivering equipment, supplies, medications, specimens to various internal and external hospital locations .. Handles items in accordance with operating procedures .. Ensures timely delivery of items to appropriate locations; communicates delays in delivery / pickup time, as required .. Operates transport vehicles both on and off property. 5. Performs pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle .. Maintains vehicle mileage records .. Operates all vehicles in accordance with applicable laws; fuels vehicles as necessary ..
