Transportation Supervisor - Lowe's : Job Details

The Transportation Supervisor is primarily responsible for 2-3 hourly associates who process inbound freight. Ensure positive associate/driver interaction, promote safety culture, facilitate growth and development of the associates. - Management of the vendor inbound freight program - carrier on-time performance, coordinate carrier/vendor communication, conduct vendor site visits, maximize cost savings through efficient backhaul execution. - Monitors the LTL program - carrier performance (accuracy, load quality). - Support outbound store delivery scheduling and DC yard management projects. What We're Looking For - Required to work a set schedule that meets the needs of the facility.
