Transportation Supervisor - Syncreon America : Job Details

Coordinate and control the assignment of labor to ensure all shipping lanes are covered with the appropriate resources Monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods. Ensure that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained. This includes after hours coordination of emergency repairs. Audit trailer storage yards and report discrepancies to the operations team. Work with operations to manage trailer storage yard and ensure timely movement of trailers to/from warehouse docks Ensure compliance to DOT requirements for driver hours and all equipment inspections and documentation. Proactively train drivers on all safety methods and standards and ensure on-time delivery standards are met Proactively works with operations to identify and remove constraints while seeking opportunities to improve efficiency Other duties as assigned.
