Position Summary:
The Transportation Technology Integration Specialist will be responsible for set up of new and or existing dedicate accounts, performing continuous improvement, as well as analyzing and responding to all customer needs and or focuses. This position will partner closely with Pyle's Senior Leadership, engineering, business analytics, operations, sales and account management teams to ensure success. The goal of this position is to utilize the best technologies and cost-effective solutions to insure long-term success.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
* Working closely with customer base to successfully onboard and maintain new business
* Utilizing knowledge and understanding of the quality process and be able to apply tools or technology in business cases
* Researching, evaluating and implementing new technologies, methods, and equipment that enhance service and/or reduce cost
* Performing on workforce training
* Reviewing, developing, and analyzing existing corporate processes
* Developing and utilizing optimization and simulation modeling to analyze A Duie Pyle's network
* Designing and developing processes which improve service and/or reduce cost
* Evaluating the purchase and/or relocation of equipment
* Regularly evaluating processes and key metrics from a network perspective
* Performing ad-hoc projects and analytics as required by Operations leadership
* Researching new techniques in freight handling or movement
To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain / Logistics preferred or 5+ years of direct industry experience.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and other tools to manage projects and execute analysis
* Ability to travel
* Must be detail oriented and enjoy a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer service minded environment
* Must have excellent interpersonal verbal and written communications and organizational skills
* Must display a sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail
