Transporter II - Norman Regional Health System : Job Details

Responds to requests for transportation to and from the hospital and other destinations. Assists patients in a safe and professional manner. Documents and records applicable information as appropriate. Maintains vehicles, equipment and supplies. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to communicate in English (verbal/written) Experience Prefer a minimum of six (6) months experience in patient transport. Must have experience operating a computer. Requires general computer skills capable of utilizing health system's software programs. Licensure/ Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required at orientation before delivering patient care and must be maintained through retraining during the employment. Valid Oklahoma driver's license and verification of a satisfactory driving record from the Department of Public Safety. A minimum of two years of driving experience is required.
