Transporter - Mayo Clinic : Job Details

Under the direction of Director of Imaging Services and/or Manager of Imaging Services, Lead Transporter, professional and technical staff; the Transporter is responsible for the transfer and transport of patients both intra-hospital, intra-campus, and between the ancillary services. Licensure and Certification: Current BLS provider card Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certification Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent Experience: Hospital experience preferred Knowledge and Skills: Physically fit and able to push patients in wheelchairs and gurneys and assist with moving of patients Problem solving skills Credibility amongst staff, both within and outside of department. Solid communication skills, ability to communicate with other departments and directors. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time.
