EPIC charting Scrub Color Pewter GreyTravel Rate: $ 1,644.84 Stipend $ 1,152.00 Taxable/weekLocal Rate: Within 50 miles of the facility $57/hrWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.DutiesPerform cardiac catheterization procedures, assisting physicians in diagnostic evaluations and interventions.Monitor and assess patients' vital signs throughout procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.Operate radiology equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control protocols.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.Provide emergency medicine support as needed during procedures.Document patient information accurately in medical records and assist with follow-up care.Stay current with advancements in cardiology practices and technologies.SkillsStrong knowledge of radiology principles and techniques.Proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures and sonography.Understanding of physiology related to cardiovascular health.Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations effectively.Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes within a Level II Trauma Center setting.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patients.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Job Type: ContractPay: $2,796.00 per weekBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceMedical Specialty:CardiologyCath LabRadiologySchedule:12 hour shiftDay shiftLicense/Certification:ARRT (VI) Certification (Required)Ability to Commute:Louisville, KY 40217 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Louisville, KY 40217: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
