Job Title: Travel Contract - Registered Nurse - Cath Lab Number of openings: 1 Shift: Night shifts - 36 hours (weekends rotating) Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 07/08/2024 Stipend: $1,316 Hourly Pay: $72.72 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $2,727 JOB DESCRIPTION The Level IV Cath Lab RN Cath Lab Registered Nurse is accountable for provision of competent care based on established standards. 12 hours, D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs
  • The Cath lab is an inpatient and outpatient procedural labs focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients for the upstate New York region.
  • The four Cath labs and three EP labs care for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of patient conditions.
  • The Cath lab has a comprehensive program with pre and post procedural care holding area.
  • The practice model is rich with RN staff with CVT collaboration focusing on excellent patient outcome and satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BLS and ACLS
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Cath Lab experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
  • Active unencumbered New York RN state license
  • One year of Epic experience
  • Familiar with Device and Ablation procedures and equipment
  • Moderate sedation trained
  • Dysrhythmia
  • Cardiovascular certified or RCES preferred

  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
