Travel Contract - Registered Nurse - PACU - Healthcare Staffing Plus : Job Details

• Ensure patient safety and comfort to patients recovering from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient's level of consciousness and vital signs
• Provide reassurance and education to patients and family members
• Assess patients, deliver care to ventilator dependent patients, and monitor dressings
• One or more year(s) of current experience within the Peri anesthesia Care Unit.
• Educated on and follows HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Infection Control, Standard Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN PACU experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN New Mexico state license
• One year of Epic experience
