Compensation : $75.75 - $75.75 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : 130145 Start Date : 10/03/2023 End Date : 02/14/2024 Shift Description : Day or nights - 12 hours - three days Job Title: Travel Nurse Shift: Day or nights - 12 hours - three days Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 07/03/2023 Stipend: $1,281 Hourly Pay: $70 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $2,509 JOB DESCRIPTION 886bed tertiary care hospital Level I trauma center that treats adults, young adults and pediatric patients Pediatric Emergency Department (Peds ED) Schedule: D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs The Peds ED offers family centered care to those under the age of 19, seeking care for urgent and emergent issues. The unit is comprised of 18 general care beds, 1 critical care bed, 4 urgent care beds and the use of the 7 bed trauma bay which we share with the adult ED. The tertiary care offered at GCHaS has a complex case mix. From treat and release to acute critical care/trauma the staff are trained to function in a fast paced and challenging environment QUALIFICATIONS

• Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.
• Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.
• Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
• Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.

Work Experience

• Minimum of two years of pediatric emergency room experience

License/Registration/Certification

• Current RN License to practice or compact license (if applicable)
• CPR (by the American Heart Association)
• BLS, PALS, ACLS - American Heart Association

Education and Training

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Employee Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred.
