About The Position**Job Title:** Advanced Practice Nurse**Job Specialty:** Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)**Job Duration:** 11 Months**Shift:** Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, 40 Hours per Week**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** No minimum years specified**License:** Must hold a valid CRNA license**Certifications:**- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)- Basic Life Support (BLS)- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)**Must-Have:**- Board certification is required- Comfortable with epidurals- Capable of working independently**Job Description:**- Perform anesthesia services independently with a focus on epidural anesthesia.- Handle a range of surgeries including cardiac, orthopedic, complex vascular, obstetrical, pediatric, and regional.- Provide general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients.- Administer spinal and epidural anesthesia as required.- Manage regional anesthesia surgeries and obstetrical cases.- Preferred skills in trauma, neonatal, neurosurgical, head, spine, open heart, thoracic, and complex orthopedic cases.- Utilize pain management techniques with preferred skills in post-op epidurals and extremity blocks.- Execute epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions with transforaminal techniques.- Employ x-ray guidance in performing blocks.- Manage ventilation and evaluate acute volume/BP issues.- Perform central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placements.- Supervise CRNA procedures where required.- Encounter an average of 25 patients per shift.- Work within a trauma level 2 and pediatric level 2 facility.- Stay is recommended in one of the two hotels directly across from the hospital for ease of access.- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days.This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with diverse cases, requiring a skilled Nurse Anesthetist who can excel in providing high-quality care.1594468EXPTEMP
