- Certification Details
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Registration: (ARRT).
- Active/valid Oregon license.
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training and meets the requirement for registration by ARRT.
- Computed Tomography certification by ARRT required.
- CPR certification required.
- Job Details
- Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
- Performs general radiography and computed tomography (CT) procedures.
- Applies principles of radiation protection.
- Evaluates radiographs and CT scans for technical quality.
- Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
- Provides patient care essential to radiographic/CT procedures.
- Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures.
- Job Requirements
- Minimum of an associate degree from an accredited school of x-ray technology or equivalent experience, bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-5 years' experience preferred in both general radiography and CT.
- Siemen's equipment experience preferred.
- Schedule Information
- Shared call involves a minimum of one night per week and one weekend per month.
