282145The Dual-Modality Technologist delivers high quality CT and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Independently performs CT and X-Ray procedures, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. This role supports outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule.Minimum Qualifications:· Graduate of Committee of Allied HealthEducation and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent,and documented competencies in Radiology and CT· Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist)· American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT) advanced certification in CT· American Heart Association BLS within 90 daysof hire· Minimum of 2 years of previous radiologyexperience· Preferred: Associatesor Bachelor's degree in health care related studiesEssential Job Functions:· Performs quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopicexams and procedures as requested by medical staff.· Operates with limited supervision, whilemaintaining high attention to detail, customer needs, and high reliability.· Assists medical staff in other departmentsduring exams and procedures as necessary and appropriate.· Performs ancillary duties as required tomaintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.· Completes documentation, in designated area,of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving,and retrieval of exams.· Retrieves written orders and related healthinformation to ensure the timely performance and reporting of exams andprocedures.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities· Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, andmaintains a professional demeanor at all times· Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity, andmaintains confidentiality· Performs essential job functions successfullyin a busy and stressful environment· Learns current and new computer applicationsand office equipment utilized at Bozeman Health· Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writtencommunication skills· Analyzes, organizes, and prioritizes workwhile meeting multiple deadlines
