AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Echo Tech in Milford, Delaware, 19963!About The PositionJob Title: Echo TechnologistJob Specialty: Diagnostic ImagingJob Duration: Not specifiedShift: Days, Nights, Full TimeGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Minimum of 1 year required; extensive experience preferred, particularly in pediatric and neonatal echocardiography.License: Registered Cardiac SonographerCertifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)Must-Have: Successful completion of a certification program and/or two years of hands-on experience with echocardiography.Job Description:- Perform direct patient cardiac diagnostic testing procedures with appropriate skill level, adhering to current standards of care and departmental/hospital policies.- Accurately perform all echocardiogram studies ordered by physicians, including Transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, Color-flow Doppler, Transesophageal, Exercise stress, and pharmacological echocardiography.- Correctly use mechanical devices to provide the best diagnostic information to cardiology physicians.- Accurately assess hospital information systems for scheduling, processing, and correct charging of all studies.- Implement infection control practices and demonstrate knowledge of aseptic techniques and equipment disinfection.- Interact with students from contracted colleges and universities, providing preceptorship and clinical guidance.- Demonstrate the ability to perform cardiac diagnostic tests following age-specific guidelines and procedures, especially with neonatal and pediatric patients.- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities.9853806EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
