The EEG Technologist is responsible for performing routine electroencephalograms (EEGs) on patients of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Key duties include:Conducting EEGs following ASET guidelines.Measuring and applying electrodes for adult and pediatric patients.Recording and analyzing EEG waveforms and patterns.Entering and preparing raw EEG data for physician review.Editing 24-hour EEG data.Ensuring appropriate patient and family interaction.Maintaining equipment, stocking acquisition stations, and documenting malfunctions.Following hospital and department policies and procedures.Qualifications:Registered EEG Technologist certification.Minimum one year of EEG experience.BLS/CPR certification.Strong computer, communication, and critical thinking skills.Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
