    Job Details
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at UnityPoint Health provides patient care in a therapeutic environment. Actions are collaboratively coordinated to provide evidence-based patient/family care using the Professional Nurse Practice Model, reflecting the ANA Code for Nurses.
    Job Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse program from an accredited college.
  • Experience or clinical time in Post-Acute Care or an Acute Care environment is preferred.
  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as an LPN in the primary state; must apply for licensure in the secondary state within 90 days.
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain it within three months from the date of hire.
  • Valid Driver's License with occasional travel required.
    Schedule Information
  • Clinician must be available to pick up 2-3 shifts consistently every week.
    Additional Details
  • Open visiting hours are available, with special restrictions for certain areas such as Robert Young Center and Riverside.
  • Drive a UPH vehicle, rental, or own vehicle may be required.
