Under the direct supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Manager and the Radiologist, the Mammography Technologist performs Screening and Diagnostic Mammograms to assist in the diagnosis of disease. The Mammography Technologist also performs diagnostic procedures and assists the Radiologist with these procedures. The Mammography Technologist works effectively with patients and patients' families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. .'
