LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Cardiothoracic Surgery MD in Oklahoma!About The Position

Job Details

Coverage Start: Early January 2025

Hours: 24 hour call coverage shifts (8a - 8a)

Responsibilities:

• Handle 24-hour emergency department call

• Perform surgeries related to the heart and lungs, including CABGs, valve repairs, and aortic procedures

• Conduct thoracic surgeries, particularly lung surgeries

• Note that vascular procedures such as leg surgeries, AAAs, and carotids are not included

• Utilize robotic technology for lung surgeries with the ION machine available

• Receive mid-level support from 7 AM to 5 PM, with three mid-level providers acting as OR first assistants

• Potential for assignment extension

• Facility uses Cerner EMR for patient records
