About The PositionJob Title: General Medicine PhysicianJob Specialty: General MedicineJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: Days PRN - as needed basisGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Not specifiedLicense: Active and unrestricted full licenseCertifications: Board CertifiedMust-Have:- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions- Own a compatible laptop (No Mac/Apple products)- Willing to complete DMA training for certificationJob Description:- Perform Compensation Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans.- Conduct exams primarily based on interviews with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.- No prescribing or treatment required.- Use of a Goniometer is necessary.- Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular systems is required.- Completion of standardized forms, Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), within 48 hours of exam completion.- Follow-up administrative work, addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostic reviews are required as part of regular duties.- Training provided to navigate online portals for reporting and form completion.- Participate in a pre-training session via a virtual platform to prepare for initial evaluations.- Opportunities for travel to assist with cases in various locations, subject to company guidelines.- Job assignments may be terminated with 48 hours' notice as per the exhibit terms.Please ensure availability for scheduling and provide shift preferences before starting.
