LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Pathology MD in Saginaw, Michigan, 48601!Pay Information$200 to $250 per hourAbout The Position

Come be a part of a fantastic Pathology team in Michigan!

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
  • December 23-29 & January 1-17
  • Call - alternate weekly starting Friday at 5 pm to next Friday at 8 am
  • Temp privileging

Practice:

  • Hospital Based
  • Rotating Call
  • 1 full-time pathologist in addition to locum
  • Current pathologist works in tandem with locum
  • Histotechnologists
  • Charting: NovoPath / Allscripts-Sunrise

Requirements:

  • Must have active MI license OR IMLC and DEA
  • Must have case logs in the past 12 months

Cases & Procedures:

  • Approximately 35-50 cases read per day
  • Grossing own specimens
  • Cut own frozen sections on Cryostat
  • Procedures: hematology, microbiology, chemistry/serology, blood bank
    • Anatomic Pathology Procedures: Surgical, GI pathology, GU pathology, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Cytology
