AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Medical Lab Technician in Marietta, Georgia, 30060!Pay Information$1,674 per weekAbout The Position**Job Title:** Medical Lab Technician - General Lab - Nights**Job Specialty:** Laboratory**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Night (5x8hr as per unit needs, minimum of 2 major, 2 minor)**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Minimum 1 year laboratory experience preferred**License:** Valid technician qualifications; temporary classification possible within 1-1/2 years for new residents or recent graduates**Certifications:** Med Lab Technician (AAB), Med Lab Technician (AMT), or Med Lab Technician (ASCP)**Must-Have:** Associate's degree in Medical Technology or equivalent certification**Job Description:**- Perform tests requiring limited skill and responsibility, exercising independent judgment minimally once competency is demonstrated- Maintain acceptable accuracy in patient, quality assurance, proficiency, and competency testing- Use clinical/theoretical knowledge to analyze, investigate, interpret, and report lab data- Recognize the relationship between lab data and clinical findings or expectations- Initiate investigation of problems and work towards resolution- Practice effective communication for information monitoring, investigation, resolution, and hand-off to team members- Comply with procedures for tracking laboratory test status and document elements of the Notification Value Call procedure- Work efficiently with a focus on time, materials, cost, and availability of lab data- Maintain current personal training, education, and practice of policies and procedures- Demonstrate knowledge of laboratory regulatory compliance and safety standards- Participate in meetings, committees, task forces, and project teams- Complete monthly, quarterly, or yearly educational requirements- Perform other duties as assigned- Adhere to company standards of behavior consistently- Take personal responsibility for corrective action based on constructive criticism9508348EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
