Travel Medical Technologist - $2,217 per week in Lebanon, NH - Ventura Medstaff : Job Details

Travel MT/MLT is needed for 16 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in New Hampshire. FACILITY WILL CONSIDER MT OR MLT, DEPENDING UPON EXPERIENCE. Four 10hr Days. Shifts would be either 7.30a-6p or 8a-6.30p. Every other weekend. 2+ years CURRENT. MT/MLT experience - Required. ASCP and BLS are required. High proficiency with coagulation, hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, blood banking and serology is required. EPIC EMR experience is required. Travel experience is preferred. Perform various chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. This work is performed in accordance with established protocols, guidelines, standard textbooks and journals, and accreditation guidelines when applicable for areas assigned perform testing while applying proper techniques used in the laboratory disciplines of coagulation, hematology, chemistry urinalysis, microbiology, blood banking and serology. Accurately record specimen identification information and test results. Participate in ordering of lab supplies to assure unencumbered functioning of the laboratory. Perform arterial blood gas analysis in the absence of the Respiratory Therapist. Assist in outpatient/in-patient phlebotomies, specimen processing, non-patient registration, and requisition checks.
