**Job Title:** MRI Technologist**Job Specialty:** MRI Technologist**Job Duration:** 8 weeks**Shift:** Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM**Guaranteed Hours:** 0**Experience:** Minimum 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging with recent relevant experience in MRI**License:** New York State licensure in Radiography**Certifications:** - Certified by New York State to inject contrast media- ARRT certification in Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging- Maintains Continuing Education credits per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements**Must-Have:** Proficiency in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software**Job Description:**- Perform high-quality MRI studies adhering to established protocols and guidelines.- Ensure patient safety and provide high-quality care during imaging procedures.- Operate MRI equipment and related software with proficiency.- Administer contrast media as necessary and follow established safety protocols.- Accurately document patient information and procedure details in medical records.- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions for timely resolution.- Participate in quality assurance activities and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
