Three (3) years of experience in all phases of radiologic technology. Education: Associate of science degree in radiology technology Type: Full-time; Contract Schedule: Day Shift, Night Shift Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Travel MRI Tech to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description: Complete procedures as requested following quality control standards Ensure quality patient care Assist patients off the table and escort them to the appropriate area Working knowledge of all areas in the department (ie. tech area, receptionist, scheduling, etc.) Assist with patient transfer and positioning as required Monitor and ensure prompt transfer of all images to PACs to facilitate interpretations Assist in identifying operational problems and implementing changes as necessary Comply with all isolation techniques when performing a procedure on a patient Other duties as assigned Position Requirements: Must be registered with the ARRT or ARMRIT Posses a State of Hawaii License (RT) Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care to various types of patients Ability to maintain professional and cordial relationships with patients, clerical staff, and all medical personnel Knowledge of MRI equipment, physics, safety, medical terminology, and department protocols Kahu Malama Nurses does not just connect you with a job; we offer a Professional Mentoring & Education Program to help you be great at your job, love it, and grow.
