AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech in Orangeburg, South Carolina, 29118!Pay Information$2,166 per weekAbout The PositionJob Title: Nuclear Medicine TechnicianJob Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear MedicineJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00), rotating shifts with 2 other techs, 5x8s, 6:30 am-3:00 pm or 7:30 am-4:00 pm; rotating call 7 days a week with current staffGuaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeksExperience: 3 years requiredLicense: State license in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography requiredCertifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), must be NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certifiedMust-Have: Radiation BadgeJob Description:- Conduct bone scans including whole body and 3 phase.- Perform HIDA scans, GI bleed procedures, and lymphoscintigraphy.- Conduct parathyroid imaging and thyroid uptake tests.- Perform renal scans with Lasix and lung scans.- Conduct MUGA scans and WBC infection imaging.- Administer MPI stress tests.- Participate in rotating on-call schedule, limited to weekends and holidays if needed.- Float between General Nuc Med and Cardiology service lines.- Wear and ensure a radiation badge is provided by the agency.- Complete necessary modules and orientation prior to start date.Additional Information:- Open to accommodating block schedule upon prior approval.- Non-local candidates are prioritized.- Previous employees must have a gap of 1 year before returning as a traveler.- Candidates must have or be in the process of obtaining a state license; clearance is contingent upon an active license.- Be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season from June through November.- Follow guidelines for requested time off; limited non-holiday time off preferred.Note: Ensure documentation and compliance are completed timely to avoid delays in start date.9737665EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
