Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: CVICU - Coronary Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Two years of recent Critical Care experience preferred. Previous travel experience preferred. License: Current RN Licensure required for State Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) Must-Have: HEART training, proficiency in English (speak, read, write) Job Description: - The Critical Care RN is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Clearly communicates, both orally and in writing, to foster staff and patient understanding of treatment plans. - Displays sensitivity to the patient's physical, spiritual, and emotional needs and evaluates the response to the delivery of care. - Supports and promotes organizational programs to ensure quality patient care. - Effectively manages department/patient activities in a time-efficient manner to ensure the delivery of care is well-organized and proficient. - Provides quality customer service to patients, families, coworkers, and members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to create a professional and respectful environment. - Floating to ICU and CVICU as needed. - Note: Modules are billable, averaging 4-6 hours for RNs, and are completed onsite during orientation.
