Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2-3 years License: Required Certifications: Must have Epic experience Must-Have: 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience Description: Competency tests are required within 48 hours of submission. Trauma Level One experience is required. Candidates must have competencies with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring ICU. Candidates must be experienced with high acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Skills include efficiency with ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation and monitoring, temporary pacemakers, and vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations. The position requires floating to other units. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system experience is mandatory. Dress code consists of designated scrub colors.
