    Job Details
  • The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible and accountable for prescribing and coordinating all nursing care as defined by The New York State Nursing Practice Act.
  • Interventions are carried out in collaboration with the care providers and other members of the healthcare team in response to patient and family needs.
  • Responsible for care delivery and renders services to patients ranging from newborn and adult.
    Job Requirements
  • New York State Nursing License required.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
    Schedule Information
  • Full-time position with rotating shifts.
  • Weekend and holiday availability required.
    Unit Specific Information
  • IMC - RN - ED unit provides care for critically ill patients.
    Additional Details
  • Management of clinical skills in the provision of nursing care and management of the patient.
  • Utilizes infection control procedures and protocols.
  • Acts as a patient advocate.
