Experience A minimum of five years' experience as an RN in an acute care setting. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Good analytical and critical thinking skills, good verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with physicians, management and other members of the healthcare team. Team player that can follow a system and protocol to achieve a common goal. Proficiency in use of electronic medical records. Proficient use of Microsoft Office “ specifically Word and Excel. Ability to organize and triage. Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including but not limited to administering treatments and medication, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other health care providers and providing education to patients and/or significant others.
