TravelNurseSource is working with ICONMA, L.L.C. to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Cincinnati, Ohio, 45201!About The PositionOur Client, an Acute Care Medical Facility company, is looking for a RN Endoscopy for their Cincinnati, OH location. Responsibilities:

• All care is provided based on the concepts inherent in the model of care for TCH which promotes an on-going partnership between patients and families and the team of healthcare providers.
• The care is culturally based and age specific.
• The RN adheres to American Nursing Association (ANA) code of ethics and to the scope of practice described in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Staff expertly manage prepping the patient preoperatively, assisting the physician and monitoring the patient during the procedure, and recovering the patient after the procedure.
• Good patient outcomes and patient safety is our number one priority, and our nurses are highly supported by their leadership and interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

• The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide care to groups and individuals. The RN utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• The RN demonstrates the knowledge, abilities, and skills to provide age and culturally specific patient care and education.
• The RN effectively communicates with peers, utilizes appropriate channels of communication and maintains absolute confidentiality.
• The RN maintains competence and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional growth.
• The RN demonstrates the ability to accept and implement change and the ability to work in a culturally diverse setting.
• Required Education: Diploma of Nursing
• Preferred Education: BSN
• Ohio RN License or Compact.
• BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
• ACLS (American Heart Assoc.)
• Certifications & Licenses: ACLS, BLS, RN License
• Skills Required: Patient Carernrn License
• Additional: ACLSGASTROENTEROLOGY
• Required: 1-2 years Endoscopy experience
