Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Med-Surg Adult, Emergency Room Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Guaranteed Hours: 40 Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an RN in an acute care setting License: Current state RN license Certifications: - CPR - Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) (to be obtained within six months if not currently certified) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (to be obtained within six months if not currently certified) Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited school of professional registered nursing Job Description: - Supervise all Acute Care and ER staff nurses - Assign duties and responsibilities - Audit documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance - Ensure conformance with policies and procedures - Provide training and competency assessments to staff - Ensure successful organizational and administrative operations in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations - Utilize good analytical and critical thinking skills - Possess good verbal and written communication skills to interact with physicians, management, and other healthcare team members - Be an effective team player to achieve common goals - Proficient use of electronic medical records and Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel - Organize and triage patient care effectively - Utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care, including administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating care plans - Collaborate with other healthcare providers - Provide education to patients and their significant others Additional Information: - RTO not approved unless noted in the offer - Position Urgency: Normal - EMR Used: Cerner - Holiday Coverage: Not Required
